The sounds of summer: a string of jingly notes cutting through the sticky-hot air. Mouths water. Parents reach for their wallets. Kids lace up their shoes and hit the pavement. The ice cream truck was coming.
Does that fun end when we grow up? What’s better on a hot day than a cool treat.
How about an ice cream float or ice cream soda, coke float, or spider? A chilled beverage that consists of ice cream in either a soft drink or in a mixture of flavored syrup and carbonated water. When root beer and ice cream are used together to make the beverage, it is typically referred to as a root beer float.
Jones Commercial Interiors provided Bradford with cool treats in the way of Root Beer Floats on Thursday, June 27th for their employees. Employees enjoyed Strawberry, Chocolate or Vanilla (or any combo) of Root Beer floats. A few may or may not have had seconds.
Everyone should get the chance to enjoy the dog days of summer with some cool treats!
